We are committed to your project's success and provide direct collaboration to ensure optimal results. Unlike third-party service centers, UC Davis Tech Foundry keeps your project local, with dedicated engineers supporting your goals.
Tech Foundry is a device development facility open to UC Davis, other universities, private companies and individuals. Note that we are a services-based facility, and equipment is operated by our staff, and is not for hands-on use.
Our facilities are focused on development and manufacturing of mechanical or electro-mechanical devices. We typically operate in support of research endeavors. We do not conduct our own research, rather we act to support it through fabrication and design aid.
Hours of Operation:
Our staff work staggered hours; please make an appointment before visiting.
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. (Closed Saturday & Sunday)
Drop-ins are not preferred - please contact us via a service request or an email to coordinate a meeting.
