About UC Davis Tech Foundry

Managed by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Tech Foundry designs and manufactures devices to support research and solve problems. Across two locations — one at the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility on the Davis campus and another at Aggie Square on the Sacramento campus — research and development engineers collaborate with and support UC Davis faculty members, private companies and individuals to complete more than 500 projects and produce 2,500 objects each year. Previously, Tech Foundry was known as the TEAM Lab.

Facilities 

We have two locations; one in Davis, and one in Sacramento at Aggie Square. Our Aggie Square location is open as of May 2025.

UC Davis Campus

We are located in the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility on the UC Davis campus at 451 Health Sciences Drive, Davis, CA 95616. The Genome & Biomedical Sciences Facility (GBSF) is located off of Health Sciences Dr. on the southwest corner of campus.
